It is also available in combination with other drugs, most notably as lisinopril-hydrochlorothiazide, which is used as a diuretic as well as blood pressure lowering medication.

How long does lisinopril stay in your system after the last dose

Lisinopril has an elimination half-life of 12-12.6 hours. This means that 66-69.3 hours, or 2 days 18 hours and 2 days 21.3 hours after taking the last dose, it is going to be eliminated from your system. A longer timeframe, however, is required for the elimination of lisinopril in individuals with kidney problems.

It must be noted that lisinopril is not metabolized and is excreted entirely unchanged through urine.
